Tuesday: dress, beside, teach, happen, begun collect, file, provide, sight, stood
Wednesday: Practice words for the test tomorrow.

Friday: Spring Break
Reading:
We will continue reading My Father's Dragon. This week students will create their own Island, with their own created characters, and then present them in class.
Science:
Through a variety of activities, students will recognize changes in the different states of matter. Please send in any old magazines you might have. We will be creating charts using the pictures.
History:
This week we will begin our study of the thirteen colonies. We will read about Paul Revere and the Boston Tea Party.
The class had a great time making their Pilgrim and Indian puppets. They made presentations, using their puppets telling the story of the Pilgrim's adventure to the New World.
Math:
When given two or more numbers, students should be able to compare and order numbers by the differences in the number of tens, and if the number of tens is the same, by the number of ones.
Virtue of the month: Perseverance
To persist in anything undertaken; maintain a purpose in spite of difficulty, obstacles, or discouragement; continue steadfastly.
