Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! From the bottom of my heart! We had such a successful Frontier Day Event. It would not have happened without all of you helping to make it so special. We had the attention of all Archway, and even a special visitor came and remarked about how happy all the children were here! At the end of the day Mr. Gillingham came up to me and thanked me for taking the time and effort to make this such a special day. I told him without our wonderful parents none of this would be possible!
This week we will continue to read our short stories and act them out in individual plays.
In History we will read Historical Biographies of Amelia Earhart and Henry Ford. We will make airplanes and have own assembly line production!
In science we will continue to investigate the oceans of the world, including animal and plant life. They really enjoy this unit.
For spelling we will review words from previous lists. I want to make sure they can spell the daily words such as days of the week, months of the year etc. to prepare them for next year.
In math we will finish off the year studying money and making change. We have our little classroom store, and then we have an actual store for them to purchase items with their 1B bucks they earned.
